ANALYSIS
Before us is the new model of the already classic Víbora Yarara from the Spanish brand.
A model that continues with the previous versions that gave so many good results, making this one a best seller.
It has a teardrop-shaped model to achieve great versatility between attack and defense.
Made of 100% carbon in both the frame and the planes, its core is made of EVA Soft rubber that gives it a medium or medium/hard feel.
It is marketed in weight ranges from 360 to 375 grams.
VIBORA YARARA CLASSIC EDITION 2022: FIRST IMPRESSIONS
This new model features superb black colours predominantly, with the brand symbol in gold and red details on the surfaces, making it a very elegant racket.
Its teardrop-shaped mould has a very balanced balance, although at high weights it can give the sensation of being a slightly big-headed paddle.
Likewise, once we get on the track the sensations are wonderful as we describe below.
VIBORA YARARA CLASSIC EDITION 2022 AT THE BACK OF THE TRACK
This model has always stood out for being one of the hardest from the Spanish manufacturer, being mainly aimed at a niche of backhand players who predominate in constant attack.
At the back of the court, we notice how that toughness requires us to have a good hitting technique in defense when we are forced to defend continuously.
On the contrary, their outstanding control allows us to make good defense-attack transitions with good little shots, taking possession of the net with quick moves.
If it is true that to get a good lob, we need to continue the hitting gesture thus avoiding short lobs.
YARARA CLASSIC EDITION 2022 VIBORA ON THE NET
As you can imagine, as we get closer to attack positions, we begin to see the advantages of having medium-high hardness in the blades.
Taking to the net, the virtues of this Yarara Classic edition 2022 are shown in all their splendor.
We have rough finishes on the surfaces to transmit spin to the ball in volleys and vipers, without losing the net and continually harassing our opponent.
With a good position at the net, if we opt for a flat volley, the balls come out loaded with weight and solid, choosing to finish the point quickly, or moving the opponent around the court thanks to its excellent control.
In blocks, we have a very good feeling when the ball does not bounce off the paddle, and we can even attack it depending on its speed.
YARARA CLASSIC EDITION 2022 VIBORA AT AUCTION
In terms of finishing, the racket gives us what we can transmit to it. It is not a typical finishing racket, it does not have a diamond shape or a high balance and sweet spot, but it is not far behind other models that a priori are more geared towards that objective.
Whether we want to bring the ball back with classic flat shots, or we prefer topspin shots for x3 or to get the ball up, we won't have any problems, obviously having the right technique to perform these shots.
FINAL OPINION OF THE YARARA CLASSIC EDITION 2022
Once again this year, Víbora has renewed a model that year after year has many players who opt for this model that never disappoints.
A versatile racket that can be used by advanced players, both forehand players who are more aggressive in their game, and backhand players who are looking for excellent control over the ball and that extra power on certain occasions.
